The Real-Time Plant Monitor in Action
Purpose
The RTPM helps you leverage the information collected during day-to-day operations, exposing trends, averages and details.
How do I use it?
Most operators have two displays, one for performing ticketing operations and a second to display the Real-Time Plant Monitor. The operators like to display the Unreleased Tickets page, which automatically refreshes itself once each minute, showing the changes in production in 'real time'.
Where does the data come from?

The data exposed by the RTPM includes all the data currently in your Libra Systems EIS database. Most views filter out Voided, Simulated and Invalid tickets. The EIS database draws its data from the Libra Systems Gen3 Workstations at each plant continuously; the RTPM leverages that data.
The importance of clean data
The RTPM is a reporting tool, leveraging the information generated when you produce tickets. When the tickets are complete and accurate, the views of data that can be viewed through the RTPM are useful and accurate; when the ticket data is not complete or contains errors, it can skew the results. Achieving clean data requires nothing extra from the plant operators. Three of the most critical pieces of information are Project Names, Customer Name, and Product Name.
Not All Side-Affects are Bad
One of the great features of the RTPM is that operators see errors on tickets quickly and are more likely to correct the data in their Generation 3 faster, providing better data for subsequent processes, such as reporting, analysis, and billing.
